Why We Love Ayesha Curry!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you know the NBA Finals have been in full swing. The Cleveland Cavaliers are competing against the Golden State Warriors for the NBA Championship and it has been a great series. The scales have tipped in both teams favor at some point and the series could run all the way to game 7 at this rate! We are not complaining. Extend basketball season as long as humanly possible.

Are you wondering who our favorite player is? Well we don’t really have one…but we must admit Ayesha Curry is BAE! Is that how you use that word? There is something about Ayesha and her adorable family that we love. She is a woman who is in the spotlight because her husband is a great basketball player. However, Ayesha has taken that spotlight and used it well. Her brand is not to be perfect and serve a false sense of reality of what it is to be a basketball wife. Instead she gives us a dose of who SHE is and that’s why we enjoy watching her. So to honor BAE, here are a few reasons we love Ayesha Curry:

1) She loves her man! She’s loyal and dedicated to him and her family. You see it in all her posts and we love that! She is making use of her time branding herself but that has never overpowered her position as Steph’s wife. She finds joy in supporting him and isn’t that something we all want in our relationships? To actually enjoy loving someone?

2) She’s about her business, and we love women who are making moves! Ayesha has her own Olive Oil line and has been given her own cooking show on the Food Network. She has a book coming out later this year (The Seasoned Life: Food, Family, Faith, and the Joy of Eating Well). She has also has collaborated with the Freshly Picked company on a line of super cute moccasins inspired by her love of cooking and her family. Keep collecting those checks, Ayesha!

3) She’s funny! Ayesha always seems to have a good time. Do yourself a favor and watch a few videos from her Youtube channel “Little Lights of Mine” and you’ll see what we mean! If you have ever seen her snapchats or Instagram, you can see Ayesha is as dedicated to laughing as she is to her man!

4) She’s not afraid to clapback. Yaaasss, Ayesha!  Slay the trolls with the classiest clapbacks! People always want to come for her and her family, but she ain’t having it! She will ignore you, come back and respond, and then blow you a kiss. Take that, haters!

5) She’s gorge! We haven’t really seen a bad picture of Ayesha. She doesn’t ever seem overdone and she appears to be very comfortable with who she is. For that reason she is relatable to masses. She seems to be just as beautiful spiritually and we love beautiful spirits here at The BC!

6) RILEY CURRY! You know how we love Tina Knowles for giving us BEYONCE? We kinda love Ayesha for giving us RILEY! That little girl is a publicist’s dream! Riley is definitely taking on her parents’ humor and she seems to be a very happy little girl. We can’t forget her adorable baby sister Ryan, we’re sure she’ll be a little showstopper in a few years as well!
